{"id":12323,"date":"2024-03-18T16:39:01","date_gmt":"2024-03-18T15:39:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rwlkwwtx9d.wpdns.site\/?p=12323"},"modified":"2024-03-28T16:05:56","modified_gmt":"2024-03-28T15:05:56","slug":"absorbing-manholes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/polieco.com\/en\/absorbing-manholes\/","title":{"rendered":"Absorbing Manholes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In addition to <a href=\"https:\/\/polieco.com\/en\/prodotti\/drenopal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">slotted pipes<\/a>, an important ally for the drainage and dispersion of rainwater into the ground is the <strong>absorbing<\/strong> manhole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>absorbing manhole <\/strong>is nothing more than a vertically buried, slotted pipe; installation should not be too deep, so a pipe with a stiffness class of SN 4 kN\/m<sup>2<\/sup> will suffice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>absorbing manhole<\/strong>, in order to perform its task, must have slots along its entire circumference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The manhole can have a bottom or not, this depends on the expected amount of rainwater and the desired rate of dispersion. <strong>Rainwater storage manholes <\/strong>generally have a bottom that allows fluids to slowly flow into the ground through slots on the circumference. In bottomless <strong>absorbing manholes<\/strong>, the water tends to pour into the ground immediately, much of it will disperse vertically but much will seep through the side slots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rainwater manholes <\/strong>are therefore composed of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conical reducer to fit on the riser. This tapers the riser to the size of a crawl space;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fitting inserted by a gasket on the outer wall of the riser to allow PVC or <a href=\"https:\/\/polieco.com\/en\/type\/sewerage-distribution-networks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">polyethylene pipes<\/a>, which are also slotted, to be inserted;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>360-degree slotted riser forming the body of the absorbing manhole<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Closure plate that is welded to the inner wall of the riser.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Since it is a <a href=\"https:\/\/polieco.com\/en\/prodotti\/ecopal-2-0\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pipe<\/a>, the final height of the manhole can be reduced on site with the appropriate tools to change the length of the riser as desired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Drainage manholes<\/strong> combined with drainage trenches form a complete system for draining and dispersing rainwater into the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-16018d1d wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-outline is-style-outline--1\" style=\"text-transform:uppercase\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-color wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/polieco.com\/en\/prodotti\/pozzetti-perdenti\/\" style=\"color:#5faf30\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Absorbing Manholes<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-outline is-style-outline--2\" style=\"text-transform:uppercase\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-color wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/polieco.com\/en\/prodotti\/rausikko\/\" style=\"color:#5faf30\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Our Dispersing cells<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In addition to slotted pipes, an important ally for the drainage and dispersion of rainwater into the ground is the [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":15,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[149],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-12323","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-drainage-and-dispersion"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.0 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Soil drainage solutions | Polieco Group<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Absorbing Manholes are one of the many products Polieco Group provides for draining rainwater.
