MADE GREEN IN ITALY E CAM<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

THE CERTIFICATION<\/strong><\/strong>

Made Green in Italy (MGI)<\/strong> is the national scheme established by the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security (MASE) for assessing and communicating the environmental footprint of products that meet the \u201cMade in Italy\u201d requirements and also comply with \u201csustainability\u201d parameters based on a national benchmark.
The MGI label is issued in accordance with the \u201cProduct Category Rules\u201d (PCR), which define the necessary requirements for conducting environmental footprint assessment studies for a specific product category.
For this assessment, the European PEF (Product Environmental Footprint) methodology is applied, allowing the measurement of the environmental impact of the product at each stage of its lifecycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE MINIMUM ENVIRONMENTAL CRITERIA<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the context of Green Public Procurement (GPP)<\/strong>, Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM – Criteri Ambientali Minimi)<\/strong> have been introduced to identify the design solution, product or service that performs best from an environmental perspective throughout its entire life cycle, with the aim of reducing environmental impacts and promoting more sustainable production and consumption models.
The Decree of the Ministry of Ecological Transition of 5 August 2024 (and the related Corrective Decree of 11 September 2025), concerning the “Adoption of minimum environmental criteria for the awarding of services for the design and execution of construction, maintenance and upgrading works on road infrastructure<\/em> (CAM Strade)<\/em><\/strong>“<\/em>, and the Ministerial Decree of 24 November 2025 concerning the “Adoption of minimum environmental criteria for the awarding of services for the design and supervision of construction works and civil engineering projects, execution of works, including construction, renovation, maintenance and upgrading works<\/em> (CAM Edilizia)<\/em><\/strong>“<\/em>, have established the criterion of “Environmental Labelling”<\/em><\/strong> (points 3.2.12 and 3.2.3), introducing the “Made Green in Italy”<\/strong> label among the awarding criteria for construction works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE ENVIRONMENTAL FOOTPRINT OF OUR PRODUCTS<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our ECOPAL<\/strong> and ECOPAL 2.0<\/strong> piping systems have been the subject of a footprint assessment study according to the PEF methodology. The representative product subject to analysis, asindicated by the RCP,is a system of SN8 corrugatedpolyethylenepipes, with a nominaldiameter of DE250 mm, for non-pressure sewage and drainagein compliance with UNI EN 13476-3; the functionalunit (FU) is \u201cthe transport of 100 meters of fluid,\u201d in accordance with the applicable PCR.
The ECOPAL and ECOPAL 2.0 systems scored 1.01E-01 and 1.00E-01 respectively, achieving the Made Green in Italy label with a CLASS B performance, compared to the benchmark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
